Data you enter into the tools
All tools on toollaunchpad.com run as JavaScript on your own device. Text, JSON, URLs or any other input you type or paste is processed in your browser's memory and is not transmitted to our server or to anyone else. It is not saved either: when you close or reload the page, it is gone. You can verify this yourself by opening your browser's developer tools, switching to the Network tab and using a tool: apart from the page view that is counted when a page loads, no requests are made.
Cookies and local storage
This site sets no cookies and does not use local storage, session storage or similar technologies. This includes the statistics script described below.
Visitor statistics
To see which tools are useful, we count visits with Umami, an open-source, privacy-friendly analytics tool. It is self-hosted on our own server (stats.195-201-86-88.sslip.io), so no data is passed to Google Analytics or any other third-party analytics provider.
When a page loads, a small script sends the page address and title, the referring page, your browser, operating system and device type, screen size and language. The server derives your approximate location (country, and region or city where available) from your IP address. Your IP address itself is not stored: it is only used, together with your browser's user agent and a secret salt that is replaced at least once a month, to calculate an anonymised identifier so that visits can be counted without identifying you.
The statistics script sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser and does not track you across other websites. If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, no statistics are sent at all. The data is used only for aggregate statistics such as page views and visitor numbers; it is not used for advertising or profiling, not combined with other data and not shared or sold. What you enter into the tools is never sent to the statistics server.
Advertising and third parties
There is no advertising, no tracking pixels, no social media widgets and no embedded third-party content. Pages load no external fonts or stylesheets; apart from the statistics script from our own analytics server, everything is served from toollaunchpad.com.
Server logs
Like any website, the web server that delivers these pages receives technical information that your browser sends with each request, such as your IP address, the requested page, the time and your browser's user agent. This is needed to deliver the page and to protect the server against abuse. These logs are not used to build profiles, are not combined with other data and are not shared, except where required by law. They are deleted automatically after 14 days.
Clipboard
The copy buttons write the tool's output to your clipboard only when you click them. The site never reads your clipboard.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new date.
